@frogblast-the-ventcore This is quite fascinating! I'd love to find out more about this universe you've got.
I'm curious, Frogblast, what's the story of Rage and Scream in this AU of yours?

Midnight Repair Shop
John "Bucky" Egan x Female!Mechanic!Reader
Blurb: In the middle of the night, accompanied with the choruses of men from the Officer’s pub afar, Bucky saw the hangar light was on. He peeked and found Jerry to his Tom—(Y/N), one of the mechanics whose side job apparently was to annoy him. It was that one time when Bucky and (Y/N) repaired not only the plane, but somehow their whole dynamics all these months.
Tumblr media
warning: inaccuracies especially with the mechanical terms because I'm not used to them and just looked em up from the internet. also, maybe weird phrasing or grammatical incorrect since English is not my first language. pls let me know what I could do better <3
note: pure fluff and giggles, some arguments but all is good with our Bucky. this is my first mota fic out there and why shouldn't i choose our antic Bucky as the main character? ;) also, this is based on the portrayal of the actors from Masters of the Air. all respect to the veterans and family
words: 3160 (sorry!)
Tumblr media
It was a sunny day as the sun was casting a golden hue over Thorpe Abbotts, the distant hum of aircraft engines signaled the approach of returning fighter planes. Among them was Major John Egan–”it’s just me, Bucky’s fine”–his B-17 streaking through the sky and leading the squadron. It was not an easy mission, but it was nothing they couldn’t handle. The route was clear and the enemy’s cover was minimum.
With steady hands, Bucky guided his aircraft toward the runway as his eyes scanned the horizon for any signs of trouble. The roar of the engine filled the cockpit as he made minute adjustments to his altitude and speed, preparing for the critical moment of touchdown.
As the wheels of his B-17 made contact with the tarmac, Bucky maneuvered and smoothly brought it to a stop with. The plane rolled to a halt, its engine purring contentedly as Bucky taxied toward the waiting ground crew.
You were one of the ground crews, a skilled mechanic around the base. People knew your work ethic and they damn respected you out of it. And that clearly gave some benefits around here.
“Back from another joyride, Major?”
You emphasized the rank as Bucky made his way out from the cockpit. His flight suit was slightly disheveled, his hair was a bit scruffy but his smile was as bright as the summer sun. Brady jumped out, his eyes scanned you and Bucky.
“Hey, (Y/N).”
“Capt,” you tilted your chin and raised your eyebrows slightly to acknowledge his presence.
“Joyride?” Bucky pulled your attention back at him. “More like a death-defying adventure, (Y/N). You know, I like to keep things exciting.”
“That ain’t exciting, bud,” you sighed, rolling your eyes. “Let’s see what kind of mess you’ve gotten yourself into this time.”
You wasted no time inspecting the plane, your expert eye quickly picking up on any signs of damage. Still locking your eyes to the plane, you said, “I swear, Bucky, if next time you come back with another dent in your plane, I’m going to start charging you for the repairs. And trust me, it ain’t cheap.”
“Did you just threaten me?” he let out a dramatic gasp, putting his hand in front of his chest. “You know, I think I’m starting to rub off on you. After all, it truly takes a special kind of person to keep up with a pilot like me.”
Your hands ran through the plane’s body, bullet holes were scattered and some flak damages were tattooed to the metal skin. You suspected there were some engine reduction from the enemy’s fire, as well as control surface damage.
“You’re not the only one keeping me busy. I have plenty of other pilots crashing their planes too, creating these cute little bends and missing some rivets,” you couldn’t help but to roll your eyes again.
“You know, (Y/N), I’m starting to think you have a thing for me crashing. How else do you explain always being there to fix up my messes?” still in his dramatic tone, he raised an eyebrow at you.
You turned your head to him, trying to mimic his dramatic gasp earlied, “Oh my God! Weird thing is, I can’t imagine having this thing called a job! Have you ever heard of that?”
You lost count on rolling your eyes at him. He laughed faintly and started to walk away from you.
“Hey, (Y/N), if I had a penny for every time you gave me that look of disapproval, I’d have enough to buy myself a damn new plane. One that doesn’t need fixing every time I fly it.”
“Spare your voice for the interrogation, Bucky, you’re just talking shit right now,” you said dismissively. You could hear his ragged breath from your place, that man clearly needed to at least have a good hot chow.
“Ouch, that stings.”
Despite your dismissive tone, you couldn’t help but to let a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of your lips.
Tumblr media
As the darkness draped itself over Thorpe Abbotts like a heavy cloak, the Officer's pub emerged as a sanctuary of warmth and light. The air was buzzing with the low hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses, faint laughters could be heard from afar. Bucky Egan was bathed in a warm, golden light from the row of lanterns that lined the walls. Wooden beams crisscrossed the ceiling above him, their darkened surfaces reflecting the soft glow of the fire roaring in the hearth.
Around the room, Bucky found himself gathered at wooden tables with other airmen as the air was thick with the scent of pipe tobacco and the familiar aroma of alcohol, mingling with the lively strains of a piano being played in the corner.
“I don’t know, man. You seem pretty tipsy already,” Buck Cleven shook his head with a chuckle when Bucky offered to buy them another round of drinks. “I don’t want you stumbling into any trouble, you know.”
Hearing what his buddy said, Bucky laughed. “Me? Trouble? Com on, Buck, you know me better than that. I can handle myself just fine! Look at this.”
Bucky tried to jump from his seat to buy another round, but then he stumbled and let the men laugh as he landed in a weird position.
“Alright, alright,” he said, laughing with them too. He was just too damn charming to be ashamed, it’s alarming.
“No more drinks,” Bucky said, God knows to Buck or to himself.
“No more drinks,” Buck hummed the same chorus. Bucky laughed, shook his head faintly.
“I’m gonna head back,” he eventually reached a decision. “And I don’t want any of you to take me, feel like flying solo tonight. ‘Kay?”
“Sure, Bucky, whatever you want,” Brady laughed as he sipped his glass. With that, Bucky stumbled out into the cool night air, leaving the sounds of laughter and conversation that faded behind him. He took a deep breath, the crisp night air helped him clearing his muddled mind as he made his unsteady steps back to his barrack.
Humming sporadic notes from Bing Crosby, he noticed a faint flickering light shined through the windows from a hangar nearby with its door ajar. Curious, and perhaps a little tipsy, he decided to investigate.
Who the hell works at this hour, he thought to himself. With a curious tilt of his head, he veered off course, his feet guiding him toward the source of lights. Peeking a bit, he was greeted by the sight of your back, working on his plane.
Bucky sauntered in, his flight jacket slung over one shoulder, a cocky grin plastered across his face. He squinted against the sudden brightness, his eyes struggling to adjust to the harsh contrast after the darkness outside. Blinking rapidly, he stumbled forward, laughing at his own stupidity. And he might or might not realize that he always felt way more stupid around you, throwing all those flirts and banters like a loony.
“Hey there, (Y/N)! Patching up the old birds, are we?” Bucky slurred slightly.
You turned your head at him, still on your workbench raising an eyebrow at Bucky’s disheveled appearance.
“Looks like someone had a bit too much to drink tonight,” you made a remark as you continued working gunning the rivets. “Too much liquid courage at the pub?”
Bucky chuckled, he leaned against a nearby box for support. “Liquid courage? More like liquid genius! But hey, I couldn’t resist the chance to see your pretty face before I hit the hay.”
Bucky grinned stupidly at your back as he heard you replied monotonously, “Oh lucky me. The pleasure is all mine, I’m sure.”
He laughed at your dry response, stepped in. “Nah, just needed a little pick-me-up after a long day of saving the world. You know how it is.”
You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t suppress a smile at Bucky’s antics. You’ve gotten used to all that now, working side by side for a couple months.
“Yeah, yeah, the brave pilot routine. I’ve heard it all before. Now, if you don’t mind, I’ve got work to do.”
As Bucky watched you expertly finish tinkering the body, you couldn’t help but admire your skill and determination. God knows since when you had worked on his plane today!
He leaned against the nearby workbench, his grin widening. “It’s your touch that keeps her purring, (Y/N). Without you, she’d be just another hunk of metal gathering dust.”
You rolled your eyes. "Flattery will get you nowhere, flyboy. You’re not fooling anyone with your smooth talk.”
“Hey, I’m just stating facts!”
“Yeah, and Hitler’s a good man. Now do me a favor, hand me the rivet gun over there,” you asked, tilting your head to the tool box.
Your hand brushed with his as he handed you the rivet gun. The wind suddenly swirled around the hangar and you shuddered at the chills down your spine. You took the gun swiftly and placed it over the exposed end of the rivet shaft. You securely fastened patches of those new aluminum sheets metal onto the wing, covering the bullet holes.
You’d been fixing the engine with Ken all day, finished just before the curfew. To clear your mind, you decided to fix the panels tonight as you asked Ken to get a hot chow. After some good arguments thrown from you, Ken gave up and walked away.
And here you were, in the hangar with the famous Bucky Egan. You’d been working with him for months, yet you didn’t know if he made all those compliments and flattery to other women as well. There weren’t any female mechanics around here and you knew he had his own way with women.
Flattery didn’t get him anywhere, but it got you somewhere.
You decided to break the silence, “You know, Bucky, I’m starting to think you pilots have a secret competition to see who can wreck their plane the most. Am I right?”
To hide whatever feelings that tried to surface, you put your familiar mask–strict, to the point, and sometimes a bit offensive. That way, you could protect yourself.
“Am clearly the best,” from the corner of your eyes, you could see him nodded and smiling. Suddenly it was so infuriating, how smiley he always was, how cheerful and friendly he was to you. How easy he was to throw compliments, and how easy he was to look at her with such adoration.
“Yeah, I've always thought you were a great pilot. Shame you're not quite as good at keeping your plane in one piece.”
You were unable to keep your feelings now. It was bottled up all this time. You were tired, hungry, and thirsty. You were vulnerable.
“Hey, hey, now,” Bucky might be a bit drunk but he wasn’t stupid. Something in the air shifted, your tone was harsh. Too harsh for his liking and your own good. Your tone was aggressive and he felt like you tried to hurt him with your remarks. Usually, they were all harmless, he even found you funny. But what was with the sudden change of tone?
“Come on, now. Why do you always pick on me?” Bucky tried to remain calm.
Forgot being calm! You were raging all of sudden. “Why would I pick on you, stop being so full of yourself.”
That’s it. That was the last straw.
“Hey, that stings!” Bucky was flustered, he walked closer to you, gaze piercing your back.
You sighed. You’re tired. You’ve been working all day and haven’t eaten since 8 am. It’s somewhere over 12 am now.
Fuck, you muttered to yourself. You need to shape the replacement panels to match the contours of the wing’s surface before riveting them. You got up and walked to the sheet metal bender, but Bucky stopped you.
With the faint hangar light on top of you both, now Bucky could fully take a look at your current state. You knew you looked terrible.
“Okay, you need to stop,” Bucky sighed. “Go to your barrack. You need to sleep.”
“I need to work.”
“She can wait. I’ll ask Lemmons to patch her up early in the morning,” Bucky said, his voice was authoritative. “Now, let’s get you some sleep.”
“No,” you tried to walk to the metal bender but his grip was strong.
“Come on, or I’m gonna abduct you.”
You almost rolled your eyes at that, but he quickly swept you off the ground. “Hey! Put me down!”
Despite the serious and cold air surrounding you both earlier, you could see how Bucky giggled. You always acted all tough, but you were just a girl for him. Your strength couldn’t even match him.
She’s cute, you didn’t know Bucky thought that right now.
He thought this was all just a joke, your mind stated.
“Nah, I’ll put you on your bed myself.”
You huffed in frustration, your attempts to free yourself only serving to make Bucky hold on tighter. "This isn't funny, Bucky! Put me down right now!"
But before Bucky could respond, his foot caught on a stray toolbox lying on the floor, sending you both tumbling to the ground in a tangled heap of limbs. With a yelp of surprise, you landed on top of him, your bodies pressed together in an awkward and unexpected embrace.
For a moment, you lay there in stunned silence, the only sound filling the air was the pounding of your hearts.
With a stupid grin on his face, Bucky smiled surprisingly sweetly, “Hello.”
As the realization of your predicament sunk in, your cheeks flushed crimson, maybe with anger or maybe with something else.
"Are you kidding me, Bucky?" you exclaimed, pushing yourself off him with a scowl. "I told you to put me down!"
Bucky winced while grinning sheepishly, rubbing his head where it had collided with the floor. He was fully sober now, thanks for the thud. "I'm sorry, (Y/N). I didn't mean for us to fall."
You crossed your arms over your chest, your expression still stormy. "Well, it's not funny. You could have seriously injured yourself. You’re one of the best pilots we’ve got, what would happen if you got hurt?!"
Bucky sighed, his earlier amusement fading as he met your angry gaze. He got up, walked a step closer to you.
"You need to be worried about yourself. What is it, (Y/N)? You’re not usually this… tensed. Is something bothering you?”
Bucky put his hand on your shoulder. You stiffened at his touch, jerking away as if scalded.
"I'm fine," you snapped, your tone once again sharp and defensive.
Bucky's brow furrowed in confusion, hurt flickering in his eyes. "Hey, I was just asking. You don't have to bite my head off."
You didn’t want to meet his gaze. Your eyes wandered to the floor that suddenly became so interesting.
But you knew that Bucky wasn't about to let you off the hook that easily. "I don't buy it, (Y/N). You've been acting strange lately, and I want to know why."
You scoffed, rubbed your eyes slowly, “It’s nothing.”
“Hey, tell me,” Bucky now grabbed your arms and once again you stiffened at his gesture. You looked up as your gaze fell to his, eyes blinked rapidly. Your cheeks flushed as you once again broke eye contact and looked at the new interesting thing: the metal bender.
And a realization hit Bucky like a lightning. The way you laughed or rolled your eyes at his jokes despite being known as a serious fella, the way you looked at him before he took off, the way you always kept some distance…
“Hey,” Bucky’s voice softened. “I’ve never been this straightforward, but we don’t have much time… Do you like me?”
He could feel your muscles tensed under his touch. You still refused to look at him.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about," you stammered, your voice barely above a whisper. Where did the tough, no-nonsense (Y/N) go?
“Hey, (Y/N), look at me,” Bucky asked you gently. He knew for sure that you held a feeling for him and he was too damn stupid to realize. He tried so hard to suppress his smile.
You looked up, his expression was soft and his eyes fixed on you with a gleam that made the butterflies crazy inside your stomach.  You thought about every possible reaction: rejections, lots of yelling, a broken respect and trust, no more jokes and friendships… But you didn’t expect when he leaned closer and brought you in, when his lips touched yours with a gentleness you could only imagine.
Bucky’s lips tasted like a good amount of mint and alcohol mixture. You were intoxicated. He put his hand on your hip, the other caressed your cheek. His touch was a gentle yet firm anchor, drawing you closer to him in a silent declaration of desire. Your fingers traced the curves of your hips with a tender reverence, his touch sending shivers down your spine as you melted into his embrace.
He’d never imagine touching you, grabbing your crinkled jumpsuit as he kissed you deeper, his hands wandered. You felt a rush of warmth spreading through your body, igniting a fire within you that you couldn’t ignore. His hands, strong and sure from years of training, held you as if you were the most precious thing in the world. His touch was both possessive and protective all at once.
When you both pulled away, trying to catch a breath, you saw Bucky smiling. His hands were still on your hips, now the right one stroke your cheek and your lips.
"You know, (Y/N), I've always admired you. The way you always know your way around an engine, your work ethic, your remarks, your replies to my jokes… I've always thought you were pretty amazing,” he whispered. “The way you handle those machines... it's something else. That’s why I always send my plane to you."
Your cheeks flushed slightly at the unexpected compliments, and you cleared your throat awkwardly. You were anything but flushed and fluttered.
"Well, I guess someone has to keep you flyboys in the air. Can't have you crashing and burning without us, right? You better treat her right up there or I'll make sure your next landing isn't so smooth."
Bucky grinned, feeling a surge of confidence after a heavy cloud towering you both  earlier.
"Hey, what do you say we had a drink tomorrow? I’d like to discuss tonight's matter, after you had a good rest of course.”
Your heart raced at the thought of spending more time with Bucky outside of work. You were exhausted, but after what happened tonight, you knew you wouldn’t be able to sleep.
"I suppose one drink couldn't hurt. But don't think this means I'm going easy on you, Bucky. I've got a reputation to uphold, after all."

18+ – The 141 take bets on No Nut November
CW: alcohol, breeding kink, cam girl, edging, slight Ghoap
Tumblr media
Frothy pints drip condensation onto tacky laminate in the back corner of the local pub. Four men glance around at their companions with self assured smirks, so sure it’s them going home with the generous wad of cash piled high in the middle of the table.
Only one of them is right.
John 'breeding kink' Price is the first to lose No Nut November, rutting into the pillow wedged beneath his hips less than a week in with a feral primality driven towards a singular instinctual purpose. Desperate grunts and growls muffled by soft plaid sheets mimic tender flesh trapped between drooling canines. All those years of self-discipline don't mean shit once he eyes a pretty young thing wobbling down the aisles of the shop with a basket full of formula and a ripe round belly – swollen, heavy, fixed to pop. Fertile.
Simon is the next to drop outta the race, earbuds keeping the siren songbird all to himself in the paper thin confines of his rustling tent; the shy dove with her dark flushed cheeks and whimpering mewls who posts on Thursday nights to get herself through university making his rifle-calloused palm keep pace with the sparkly battery-powered rabbit lewdly shlicking between her folds, the 'top donator' headline flashing victorious on his screen keeping her chanting his name with each shuddering orgasm.
Kyle nearly makes it the whole month – stupidly proud of himself for it too. Stumbling out of the barracks last year at 3am wearing the evidence of the vampire he'd brought back from the bar (watch still stuck on Bogota time) having cut his chances off real quick. This year is gonna be different. Pure determination; a marksman’s precision. No more slip-ups. Too bad his cousin's stag night rolls around three days before December, the charming temptress spinning her seductive web in neon stilettos leading his intoxicated form behind a beaded gossamer curtain, a couple hundred poorer and his heartbeat in his pants.
Fast forward to the back of the pub.
A pair of twinned groans concede defeat to the youngest sergeant, muttered insults barked without bite into the dark malty liquid of their drinks with half hearted regrets at being bested. Yet while the other two may relent in their failed endeavors, the chastised clicking of a tongue stops Kyle’s outstretched hand from collecting his winnings.
Stunned eyes shoot towards the uncharacteristically chatterless Scotsman across the table. After all, no one ever suspects Johnny. Why would they? Big dumb mutt always flapping his gob, chasing after anything on two legs that’ll give him the time of day. The least serious member of the unit with a nose for mischief and a taste for easy women. Poor pup just can’t help it if he has trouble keeping his leaky red rocket to himself. There’s no point in even entertaining the idea really.
But that’s how it’s always been, hasn’t it? Ever since basic – when he was just some punk kid from the outskirts of Glasgow spouting too many words with too much nonchalance. Mentally writing him off as anything but the squadron’s class clown. Counting him out before he’s even had a chance to tap in.
They forget he’s one of them sometimes; honed, sharpened, regimented to perfection. A sniper’s focus mixed with advanced pyrotechnic chemistry. Analytical interest bottled in an understimulated mind. There’s a stubbornness in his veins that begs for a challenge – that thrives in the environment of other people’s miscalculations.
Think he can’t do it? Watch him surpass expectations. Tell him not to cum for a month? Fucking bet. Thanks for the hefty sum sitting fat in his wallet. Tough luck boys. Next round’s on me.
Besides, it’s not like the other members know about the long nights spent with his head tipped back against the headboard fisting his angry red cock, edging himself for glorious hour after hour to relieve the stress of a hard fought mission.
Well, except Simon that is…

OLD TUMBLR LAYOUT BY PIXIEL — While not XIV specific I know a lot of people aren't fans of the new Tumblr layout, so this is a fix that will revert it to an as close as possible approximation of the new one. I won't tag the creator as I don't think they're in the xiv community, but it's run by @/pixiel!

HYDAELYN HEALTH HAVEN has been removed at the request of the owner.
Moved THE BALANCE higher on the list to reflect alphabetical sorting, excluding names that start with The.
Misc formatting as needed.
Added some additional clarification around large-scale discords/spaces; in particular: Large-scale community discords such as the XIV Reddit Discord, Hunts, GPOSE promotions and broad-space roleplay servers that harbour a large number of people and are publicly available to all. These may not have an RP focus but will assist in other aspects of the game. Also includes well-known tools/resources that are utilised by large groups of people and assist in gameplay elements.
Added a quick-jump menu to the bottom of each of the table of contents menus to assist in navigation.
Want to submit? You can either fill out the google form here, send me an ask with the relevant information contained on the Compendium, or join my Discord at SEAFLOOR (21+ only)!
I am sure there's probably a couple of things I have missed or links/formatting that might be broken. Please don't hesitate to let me know if anything is out of place. I'm going to take a break now. I'm pretty sure that's the biggest edit that's ever going to occur on this document!

"The last flying Lockheed Vega"
The last flying Lockheed Vega is owned by Arizona Pilot John Magoffin. She is a 1933 DL-1B, one of 10 built in Detroit with a metal fuselage over its wooden frame. She was purchased in 1933 by the Morrell Meat Packing Company of Ottumwa, Iowa, which made it the first executive aircraft in the country and saw service with a number of companies and corporations around the US. She is currently painted in USAAC colors to mimic one that flew for the 35th Pursuit Squadron, based at Langley Field, Virginia in 1932.

Jake "Hangman" Seresin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Précis: Jake's favorite duo gifts him an anniversary surprise he'll cherish forever.
Note: An imagine in the To-Do List collection. This one is for @cherrycola27, who came screaming into my dms with this idea after reading Car Wash. 🖤
Third image is what I envisioned for the described panty-garterbelt combo. Courtesy of Honey Birdette.
Warnings: 18+ only, nudity, body parts, adult themes.
Word count: 1.1k
Jake hustled into the house, worried he was going to be late. Tossing his keys on the table in the entryway, he thudded up the stairs to the bedroom. As he crossed the threshold, he pulled his shirt over his head. Once he could see again, he stopped in his tracks. There, on his side of the bed, lay a neatly wrapped package. Curious, he walked over.
As he approached, Jake read his name in her handwriting on the card tucked under the bow. Sitting on the edge of the bed, Jake pulled the package into his lap and unearthed the card.
Enjoy. xo
He sat the card beside him and tugged the bow until it fell apart. Once the ribbon was off, he lifted the lid to find a square black leather book with “For your eyes only” debossed in the middle of the cover. He ran his hand across the small words and curled his fingers around the edge to open it.
The cover page read, “Happy anniversary.” A smile graced his lips as he flipped to the next page to see her leaning out the window of his 1967 Ford Mustang parked on a scenic cliff somewhere along the coast. Her chin rested on her haphazardly folded arms, and she was smirking into the camera. Jake loved everything about it.
His smile widened as he turned the page to see her in the first of several traditional pinup poses.
She donned an open black bomber jacket that revealed just her sternum and the inner curve of her breasts. A gift from Jake to mimic his flight suit, it bore his squadron patches and a call sign patch that read “Mrs. Hangman.” She paired it with the most delicate black lace panties and garterbelt. Jake wasn’t sure how the belt was even holding up her stockings. She was perched on the hood of the car, legs on full display.
In the next photo, she was standing back to the camera, looking over her shoulder, clutching a soapy sponge against ‘Stang, the nickname they gave his vintage muscle car. A smirk curled Jake’s mouth as he noticed she was clad in the infamous black triangle bikini and high-waisted cutoff denim shorts.
The outfit took him back to the day he came home to find her washing ‘Stang in the driveway. His heart began to race as he thought about her riding his lap in the front seat parked in the garage. The mental replay had him shifting in his seat. For a minute, he tried to think about less sexy things to keep himself together. After all, he still needed to get ready for dinner.
Clearing his throat, he thumbed further through the montage, enjoying each pose of his favorite duo.
The upcoming page was thicker than the previous ones. Interest further piqued, he turned it to learn it was the middle of the book and folded out twice its size.
“Holy…” he trailed off as he unfurled the centerfold to reveal her draped naked across the hood. ‘Stang’s shiny chrome grill with the iconic wild mustang galloping in the center was the least impressive part of the image.
She was casual yet sultry with her elbows resting on the hood and her temple pressed against the knuckles of her interlaced hands as she stared at Jake from the page. Her biceps strategically covered her nipples, but left the bottom swells of her breasts exposed. Suddenly, Jake had cottonmouth.
When his gaze fell upon her barely parted pouty lips, he felt a sudden rush of blood to his lap. Her hair was also mussed just right and her skin had a certain glow, reminding him of how she often looked after they fucked.
Next, he was drawn to the slope of her shoulders that led to her back then her waist and finally rolled up her perfectly shaped ass. The soft curves of her thighs trailed to the backs of her knees where her legs extended off the hood, jutting into toned calves and ending with perfectly pedicured toes.
Jake’s fingers traced her figure on the page. His mind autofilling the feel of each curve.
“Do you like it?” Jake jumped up, nearly dropping the book. Instead, he caught it by the pages. Terrified, he inspected it and found no damage. Once he was sure his gift was ok, he looked at his wife in the doorway.
Immediately, he did a double take as she leaned against the door jamb, donning the bomber jacket outfit from the book.
She swaggered over to Jake, and together, they sat back down on the edge of the bed. She sidled up to him so she was pressed against his side, a hand planted behind him on the bed as Jake held the book in his lap. “We should look at the second half,” she added.
Jake looked between her and the book. “Do we have time?” He was thinking about their dinner reservation.
Her smile said it all. She folded the pages back in, so they could browse the back half. “These are a little more intimate,” she added.
His mouth fell open as she flipped the page to reveal herself nude and laying upside down in the driver’s seat. Her forearms tastefully covered her breasts as her hands cupped her neck. Head hanging off the seat, her hair cascaded out the open door. Her long legs reached up to the ceiling, the balls of her feet anchoring her.
Mesmerized, Jake held the book as she reached across him to reveal another set of images. On the left, ‘Stang’s hood was open, and she was leaning into it with one leg popped. All her scandalous bits in shadow, but the lighting perfectly shone the silhouetted curves of her backside and supple breasts.
On the right was a straight-on view of her wide hips, round ass and long legs as she leaned into the trunk. Of course, she was naked, but her core was shadowed perfectly to keep the image in good taste.
They finished the rest of the book, her flipping pages as Jake stared in awe. In his wildest dreams he had not thought about having a keepsake of professionally shot images of his wife and vintage car.
She closed the book and slid it off his lap, revealing an impressive bulge. A smile pulled her lips as she looked up at him through her eyelashes. His green eyes were dark with lust. “We’re gonna have to skip dinner…” he trailed off, as she straddled his lap.
“That was the plan.” She smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his.

maverick & ethan twins au
Tumblr media
It’s no better to be safe than sorry
A mission requires Ethan to steal something from the navy, good things he’s close to fighter town…right?
Notes: Stated it before, Ice is still alive in my Aus bc I miss him so much.
Warnings: none
Song: take on me - a-ha
This was a terrible decision, but it was necessary. Why did it have to be him? Ethan had no idea, but despite his senior agent status, the IMF still withheld crucial details. That’s why he had stolen one of his brother’s flight suits to access information on the Vice Admiral’s computer. Benji had already attempted to hack in remotely, but being a government asset would trigger alarms.
Please don’t be in the air. Ethan thought as he strode through the halls of Top Gun. For once, he felt guilty about impersonating his twin. They used to do it all the time as kids, but now it felt wrong. If Pete was up flying this would make it so much more difficult.
He tried to mimic his brother’s demeanor, realizing it had been a while since he’d seen Pete in a professional setting. Maybe he was coming off as too uptight or too much like 80s Maverick.
“Captain,” a passing aviator greeted him. Ethan nodded and smiled, noting he didn’t recognize them from the photos in Pete’s living room. They were likely not part of the Dagger squadron, the very people he wanted to avoid. More importantly Bradley, he couldn’t risk being recognized by the kid now.
“Ethan, hurry! The Commander just walked in, and the Vice Admiral isn’t in his office,” Benji’s voice crackled urgently in his ear and Ethan picked up his pace.
Ice coursed through Ethan’s veins. Iceman was here—Tom Kazansky, the commander and one of Pete’s closest friends. Tom had an uncanny ability to see through Ethan’s act, no matter how convincingly he mimicked his brother. Like his name suggested, he was as cold as ice. Ethan wouldn’t lie and say Tom scared him just a little.
There was commotion ahead of him, a voice he recognized immediately and it made his heart rate rise.
“Take a right now!” Benji snapped. Ethan wasted no time, darting into the nearest office. He closed the door quietly and glanced over his shoulder.
He froze.
“Ethan?” a familiar voice called.
“Pete,” he managed, forcing a strained smile. This was the first time he’d run into his brother while he was working.
“Pete? Who’s Pete?” Benji’s voice echoed in his ear, clearly confused.
Pete’s expression shifted as he took in Ethan’s appearance. They looked like reflections of each other.
“Why are you wearing my flight suit?”
“Do you have access to the data system?” they both asked simultaneously, surprise etched on their faces.
“Why do you need access?” Pete asked slowly, suspicion growing. He could tell Ethan was up to something, and he was questioning why he was sneaking around such a secure base.
“I need it,” Ethan said, stepping toward Pete’s desk and gesturing at the screen, as if his brother would just comply.
Pete remained unimpressed. “I can’t give you access. For one, I don’t have the clearance. And for another, what the hell are you doing?”
“All I need is to get Benji into the system. It has to be through a designated computer—” Ethan held up a seemingly ordinary USB drive. “Please, Pete, I need this. The IMF is hiding something, and we can’t let it go, especially not now.”
“I’m not letting you hack my computer, Ethan! That’ll flag me! Now I’m dragged into this because you decided to impersonate me!” Pete shook his head.
Ethan understood Pete’s hesitation; he realized he hadn’t thought this through completely. He was meant to access the Admiral’s computer instead.
“Okay, you’re right, 100%,” Ethan conceded, his tone softening. “But you know I wouldn’t let anything happen to you. I just need the intel.”
Pete sighed, realizing this was likely a life-or-death situation—something world-ending, which was all too familiar with his brother.
“I promise it won’t be traced. Benji’s too good for them to catch it,” Ethan said, his smile almost pleading.
Pete pushed back in his chair, and Ethan quickly moved around to plug the USB into the PC. “Thank you—Benji, you got a connection?”
“Loading in now. Give me five minutes, and we’ll be out,” Benji replied in Ethan’s ear. He could almost hear the rapid clicks of Benji’s fingers on his laptop keyboard.
The twins stared at the monitor as files flickered by, Pete's expression tinged with annoyance.
“You owe me for this. If it leaks, I swear I’ll end you,” Pete said, his voice low but intense. Ethan nodded with a grin, aware that Pete rarely threatened, but this situation was risky. Fightertown was the closest airbase, and they had to be careful.
“I promise, it won’t get out. Just stay in your office when I leave. I have a plan—once I ditch this uniform.” Ethan tugged at the restrictive green fabric, feeling its constriction. It wasn't the worst outfit he'd worn, but certainly not his favorite.
“Got it!” Benji signaled, and Ethan swiftly pulled the USB from the port, slipping it into his flight suit pocket before stepping back.
“What’s wrong with my flight suit?” Pete asked, brow furrowed in mock offense. He practically lived in that uniform, and now his brother was throwing shade.
“Maverick, good to see you actually behaving—”
Their heads snapped up as the door opened, revealing a pair of cold, bright blue eyes behind clear glasses.
“Ice!” Pete exclaimed, his voice strained with forced cheer, while Ethan managed a tight smile. Benji, distracted by his search for the file, had completely overlooked the cameras—Ethan should’ve been more vigilant.
“Do I want to know?” Tom asked, arching an eyebrow as he adjusted his glasses. As the commander, he was privy to many secrets, but he knew that seeing the Mitchell twins in the same room looking like guilty toddlers was never a good sign.

The Deployment Diaries Part 14 | Rooster x Reader
Summary: Flying with Bradley is better than you could have ever imagined. And when he receives exciting news, you’re ready to help him celebrate.
Warnings: Smut, swearing, fuff
Length: 3000 words
Pairing: Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Female Reader
This was written to accompany my series Is It Working For You? along with a bunch of my one-shots! Check my masterlist for the reading order!
Tumblr media
After another weekend spent together, talking, watching movies and doing chores, Bradley noticed you seemed more and more yourself. He tried to let you talk about things when you saw fit, and he was always there to offer his gentle opinion and hold you. He wasn't planning on telling you that he'd broken Josh's nose and several of his ribs, but he would if you ever voiced any concerns about running into him again.  Jake was probably right. Josh wouldn't be back. But if he was, he'd have to contend with Bradley and the entire Dagger squadron. Coyote used to be an amateur boxer, and Nat had some seriously sharp fingernails. The guy wouldn't last a minute.
Sunday afternoon consisted of you trying to show Bradley some yoga poses in the living room.  "Okay, now stand on your left foot and tuck your right arm behind your back like this," you instructed him.  He tried to mimic what you were doing, but he was a lost cause. "Like this, Baby Girl?" You were laughing. "No, let me help you." He let you pose him and move him around on his yoga mat, which was really just your extra one. Your small hands on his muscles felt so good. "Jesus, Roo, you are terrible at this," you said, more laughter bubbling out of you as you tried to get his body into the correct position. "It's like you're too muscular or something." "I'm going to take that as a compliment." "I give up. Just try downward dog. It's impossible to mess that one up," you told him, and Bradley was soon treated to the sight of your ass up in the air.  "I have a better idea," he muttered, pulling his tee shirt off. "What's that?" you asked, and then you gasped when he ran his fingers across your lower back. "How about we have sex on the yoga mat instead?" You looked up at him from your awkward position and nodded your head. Bradley yanked your yoga pants down, exposing your ass, before kissing you there and gently flipping you onto your back. You squealed and giggled as he settled on top of you, kissing you and rubbing his mustache along your neck. Bradley pulled your yoga pants completely off before removing your sports bra as well. He settled some of his weight on top of you, loving how sweet you looked on top of your sunshine yellow mat.  You smiled up at him and ran your fingers gently through his hair. "You're so handsome, Roo," you whispered. Bradley kissed your nose and your cheeks and trailed his lips all over your body. You gripped his biceps as he held himself above you, running his prickly mustache across your nipples before kissing them gently.  You moaned softly as he nipped at the undersides of your breasts and slowly kissed the soft skin of your belly. His fingers trailed up and down your sides as he mumbled, "Perfection." When he focused his attention on your calves and ankles, you moaned, "What are you doing?" He hummed and said, "Worshipping you." You covered your face with your palms and made delicious, encouraging noises as he worked his mouth along every inch of your skin. Your pussy was dripping wet by the time he put his mouth there to taste you. And when he finally slipped himself inside you, you worshipped him with your body too. ------------------------------------- By Sunday night, you and Bradley were snuggling in your bed while Tramp had a puppy dream in his bed in the corner. "You excited about tomorrow?" he asked you, running his fingers through your hair. "Roo, I am so nervous." "Why are you nervous, Baby Girl?" Bradley asked. He had thought you were excited to fly with him. "Would it be easier for you to go with someone else? I'm sure Phoenix would be happy to take you up." "No! Don't be ridiculous! I'm not going with anything other than you, Roo. It's just crazy that I've been working with aviators and aviation software for so long, but I've never flown in a Super Hornet before," you told him as you curled up on his chest. "It just feels like stage fright or something." "I think you'll be fine. In fact, I think once we're in the air, you're going to love it. Assuming you don't throw up." You jerked up from his chest. "You think I'm going to throw up?" you asked, eyes wide. Oh shit, maybe he shouldn't have said that to you. "Uh, it's always a possibility," he cautioned.  You looked concerned. "How many G's will we be hitting?!"  "Um, no more than three." "Three! That's a lot!" You were gaping at him now. "What if I black out or something?" "Sweetheart, I will take care of everything. I'm good at flying and being with you. In fact, that's pretty much all I'm good at." You laughed. "Don't sell yourself short. You're good at cleaning the kitchen, Roo. And mini golf! You're pretty fucking good at mini golf," you told him with a smile. Bradley started laughing. "You're sweet, but would you let me finish? I'm good at those two things, and if I get to do them at the same time, that's a big deal for me. So I'll make sure you love flying with me." The following morning, Bradley went through all of the safety checks even more rigorously than he normally would. Not only was he flying with you, he was flying Nat's jet. If she found one single thing out of place, he was sure to hear about it. But everything looked perfect, and he was so excited for this. When you met him on the tarmac in your brand new flight suit, you were all smiles.  "How do I look? Like a real aviator?" you asked, turning in a circle before him, pausing with your hands on your hips and smirking.  He knew that you knew what he was thinking about.  Bradley was silently hoping you'd get to keep the flight suit so you could take it home. It would be a shame if that didn't make it into the bedroom at some point. He could put his dog tags and aviators on you along with the flight suit, and maybe get you to yell at him to do some pushups. Maybe you would even dole out a more stringent punishment if he was insubordinate. He really wanted to find out. He took a calming breath. "You look like a real aviator," he told you with a nod, and you both headed toward the hangar. He wanted to push you up against the side of the mechanics workbench and unzip your flight suit, but he wasn't allowed to touch you right now. It was going to be a long afternoon. "What's in your helmet bag anyway?" you asked him as you grabbed a plain black helmet for yourself.  "Snacks." You gave him a funny look. "You fly around with a bunch of snacks?"  "Yep."  "You seriously fly a seventy million dollar aircraft with a bag full of snacks?" you asked, on the verge of laughing at him. "While protecting our collective freedom? How did I not know that?" Bradley tipped the bag open in your direction to show you. "Sometimes I even pack a sandwich. And there's a picture of you in there too, Baby Girl."  You were still laughing as you started loading into the aircraft. "I can't believe I made it into the snack bag," you told him as you climbed the ladder.  "Well, you are a snack, so...." You were giggling as Bradley started loading in, and he smiled because you didn't seem nervous at all now.  Even when he started to taxi the jet, you still seemed calm. "How do you like it back there in Bob's seat?" "This is horribly uncomfortable," you said through your mask, so Bradley could hear you over the engine. "How do you fly for upwards of twelve hours at a time?" "Why do you think I work out so much? Better posture and core strength makes this thing a lot more bearable. Plus I would die from the lactic acid pain settling into my legs if I didn't run every day that I fly. You wanna ask the tower for permission?" "Yes!" you exclaimed, promptly checking in with the tower on behalf of Bradley, and soon you were picking up speed on the runway.  --------------------------------------------- Taking off in an F/A-18 Super Hornet had to be the craziest feeling in the world. The breath was literally taken from your lungs by the combination of excitement and exhilaration. You were craning yourself in the seat to catch a glimpse of the San Diego skyline before the city quickly faded into the distance only to be replaced by desert. After Bradley checked in with the tower again and did a few test maneuvers, he asked, "How are you doing back there, Lieutenant? Feeling okay?" "Oh my god, I love this! Why didn't I go to flight school?" you asked Bradley as he tore through the sky above the hot California desert. The scenery was more beautiful from the air, and Bradley was flying so fast, every breath you took felt charged with energy.  He chuckled into his mask, and the slightly distorted sound of his raspy voice in your helmet gave you goosebumps.  "You would have been a great pilot. Pretty sure you would fail the eye exam though." "Ugh, you're so right! I'll just be a WSO then. Bob wears those cute glasses, and he's really good at it. Oh! Here's one of the things Fanboy told me to say! Are you ready for it?" you asked, checking out the changing terrain below as Bradley banked to the left. "Affirmative, Lieutenant. Go ahead," he said, and you could hear the smile in his voice. "Bang it off the stops and bust a number, Rooster!" Bradley burst out laughing. "Do you have any idea what you just said to me?"  You pursed your lips, and said "No, actually. Was it mean, or something?" Maybe you should have asked Fanboy what it actually meant, but it had sounded so cool when he said it.  "You just told me to very violently roll us upside down and then hit high supersonic speeds," Bradley replied, howling with laughter. "What?! Please do not do that! I'm going to strangle Fanboy!"  "And what was Bob's great advice for you?" Bradley asked, still chuckling as he pulled a maneuver that made you squeak and grab onto the seat.  "He told me to tell you not to fuck up Phoenix's jet, but he said it while she was standing there with a threatening look." "Either way, it's pretty solid advice. Hey aren't you supposed to be taking notes back there?" Bradley asked. "I am! I'm literally writing in my notebook as we speak, Lieutenant Bradshaw! Bob's in dire need of a software update in this thing. I can't wait to roll out our beta version. I also need to check the individual mainframes to confirm the specs on the last updates, because I didn't do them. And you're definitely getting new monitors, because it's laughable how much lag time I'm dealing with at the moment!" "Hmmm... I have no idea what that means, but I'll take your word for it. Are you ready to hit some G's?" Bradley asked, and you could hear the smile in his voice again.  "Bring it on!" -------------------------------------------- "Fuck, this is so hot," Bradley grunted next to your ear as he fucked you from behind at the kitchen sink.  You had in fact worn the flight suit home at his suggestion. And as soon as you started unzipping it next to the coffee table, you told him, "Maybe I'll sew a patch onto it that says Baby Girl." And then Bradley kind of lost his mind. He was beginning to understand why you liked it so much when he wore his flight suit home from work.  So he ate you out from behind at the kitchen sink, nose bumping your ass cheeks, before caging you in place and fucking your sweet pussy. Now his eyes kept dropping to where his flight suit and yours were crumpled up on the floor at your feet, not quite removed all the way because you were both still wearing your combat boots. "I'm gonna get you a patch for your new flight suit that says Property of Lieutenant Bradshaw," he told you as he kissed the back of your neck and buried his nose into your bun which was starting to come loose as he fucked you. Your moaning was so obscene, he had to slow down before he finished too early.  "Maybe I'll just get a tattoo of that," you managed to say, and he involuntarily picked up his pace again.  Groaning, he said, "No, Baby Girl, don't do that. You'll have to keep getting it updated with my rank." And then when you giggled and moaned at the same time, he grabbed your waist and tipped you forward a bit more. "You make the hottest sounds. I swear I think about them when I'm alone at night." "Roo," you whined, bucking back against him. "I'm so close." "Thank God," Bradley grunted, because so was he. He let his fingers play with your clit, while he pushed into you with all his weight, and he could feel himself moving inside your pussy against his hand. "Oh fuck!" He needed you to get there, so he used his other hand to knead and gently spank your ass. He was already coming when you started to clench around him, and he grabbed your ass with both hands, panting your name while you cried out. "Flying today made me really horny," you whispered when your breathing calmed, and Bradley started laughing as he slipped out of you.  "Yeah, I can see that, Sweetheart. It's the magic of the flight suit." --------------------------------- Flying with Rooster hadn't been scary at all. It was the most fun you'd had in forever. You even got someone to take a picture of the two of you in the Super Hornet after you were back on the tarmac.  The image of Bradley and you sitting in the spots labeled for Lt. Natasha Trace 'Phoenix' and Lt. Robert Floyd 'Bob'  respectively made you laugh every time you looked at it. When you sent it to Nat and Bob, Nat wrote back asking if she had always looked so ugly, and Bob wrote back asking if he had always looked so pretty.  The rest of the week flew by in a pleasant enough haze as you made updates to your software modules based on your flight with Bradley. By the time Friday morning came, you had already started a software upload to the fleet of F/A-18s housed on North Island. It would take the entire weekend until you could check to make sure it was successful, so you headed out a bit early.  But when you got home over an hour early on Friday, looking forward to spending the weekend with Bradley and Tramp, you were surprised to find the Bronco was already in the driveway. Bradley almost never got home before you, especially not on a day when he was flying. He usually liked to hit the locker room and wash the smell of jet fuel away before coming home. So he must have either worn his flight suit home for you, or something was wrong.  You grabbed your laptop bag and ran up the porch steps. The front door was already unlocked, and you threw the door open to see Bradley on the couch, already dressed in jeans and a tee. Your eyes met his and he stared back at you. "What's wrong?" you asked cautiously, but he was simply holding Tramp with a vaguely pleased expression on his face.  Bradley set Tramp down on the floor and stood facing you. "I'm up for promotion." You just stared at him for a minute, processing his words. "Lieutenant commander?" you whispered. "Yes," he said, nodding his head.  "Bradley!" you screamed, tossing your bag aside and rushing toward him. He caught you in his arms, buried his face in your neck and laughed while you chanted Lieutenant Commander Bradshaw over and over.  "It sounds even better when you say it," he told you, burying his fingers in your bun and kissing your lips.  "Congratulations! I am so proud of you, Roo! You found out today?" "Yeah, I got called in to meet with Cyclone, Warlock and Mav. Thought maybe I was getting pulled to do a test flight on your new software or something. I can't believe this, Y/N," he said, and he was just beaming at you. "And you're the first person I told. Do you have any idea how happy that makes me?" You squeezed him so tight as he rocked you back and forth in his arms. You loved being the first person on his list, and you needed to make sure he knew that. "I love you, Bradley. And I love that you told me first. You make me feel special." "You are special, Baby Girl," he whispered. "I have an idea," you said, as Bradley let you slide down his body until your boots hit the floor. "Do you think Bob would watch Tramp for the weekend?" Bradley's brow scrunched up. "Probably. If you paid him in homemade food, then definitely. Why?" You grinned and ran your hands up and down his arms. "Let's get a swanky hotel room and a bunch of bottles of pink champagne and go out dancing and celebrate! You're being promoted! And your birthday is coming up soon!" Bradley's face lit up as he dipped you back in a serious kiss. "Let's do it, Baby Girl," he murmured against your lips.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas, or if you don't celebrate I hope this time of the year is treating you well. I took a few days to just be with my family. I want to get back into posting at least once a day, so I can just keep myself disciplined. This isn't what I wanted to post today, but I just needed to make sure I was posting something. I'm trying to build up the habit of not being worried about every single detail.

Star Wars Legends Highlight of the Week: Dorset Guards the Fake Falcon
In this feature, a fan will share one thing they love from Star Wars Legends — a book, a comic, an author, a character, a scene, an event, or anything else they want to highlight — and tell us more about it.
If you, too, love Legends, follow @from-a-legends-pov and check out our From a Legends Point of View fanfiction event, where we’ll be bringing together writers (maybe you?) to build a collection of Star Wars Legends fanfiction set during the time of the Original Trilogy. Writer signups are open through June 2 — use our Signup Form to pitch your story concepts (Signup Guidelines available here), and please encourage your favorite writers to participate!
Tumblr media
Today’s Legends highlight is a scene from Aaron Allston’s novel X-Wing: Solo Command in which Polearm Squadron pilot Dorset Konnair is guarding the Millennium Falsehood in battle (after working with the Falsehood to mimic a YT-2400 freighter), and we’re talking with WraithFourteen.
Tell us about your Legends highlight. What is it? What’s it about?
My highlight involves a scene in X-Wing: Solo Command where Wedge and other characters are flying a fake Millennium Falcon as bait to lure forces of the main villain, Warlord Zsinj. There’s several notable elements, including a protocol droid wearing a Han Solo mask and clothes because Wedge can’t speak the Wookiee language to Chewie, but my focus is on the single fighter assigned to guard the fake Falcon (called the Millennium Falsehood) here - and how baiting the enemy in this case meant taking on two full squadrons of TIE Interceptors.
What makes this a highlight for you? What do you love about it?
This scene stands out for a few reasons, but especially because it involves Dorset Konnair, a more minor character from the Wraith Squadron trilogy, flying an A-Wing to escort the Falsehood. Dorset was in just three scenes before this — two in Wraith Squadron flying with Kell Tainer, and one in this book depicting her a small, quiet woman with a star-flare tattoo around her right eye and others that are unspecified but also varying shades of blue.
During this scene, Dorset logs at least two kills and outflies the other enemy pilots despite their numbers. Since Rogue Squadron ace Tycho Celchu previously flew an X-Wing in the Falsehood escort role, it’s also subtly impressive that Dorset was selected in the first place. This implies to me that Dorset is a capable minor character who doesn’t brag about it, sort of like Wedge was in the OT movies.
Fellow pilot Myn Donos had interpreted her quiet nature to be a sign she felt out of place as a native of Coruscant, the former Imperial capital. That and her tattoos created a bit of mystery around her even when I first read the novel as a kid.

Do you have a favorite detail or moment?
Going back to the bit where Dorset’s A-Wing detaches from the YT-1300, it reminded me, even when I first read the book, of how small planes would be dropped from a larger one in the late 1940s through mid-1960s. That was mostly done with test planes (like the first supersonic flight depicted in The Right Stuff) but also attempted unsuccessfully with a tiny fighter jet. It helped that I’d seen both that tiny jet and the larger plane that carried it at a museum as a kid.
The YT-2400 shell being dropped away as well also reminded me of how the Apollo program’s rocket had lower sections and rings that were detached along the way to the Moon - an image of that inspired how I envisioned the book scene. (As you’ve probably noticed, I was really into stories of air/space exploration as a kid, and so the pilots were what drew me into Star Wars. I also had a hand-drawn image of the first supersonic plane being released on my wall as a kid, similar to the “you can’t look dignified when you’re having fun” OP.)

[You receive an emergency alert from front office of Anchoridge HQ.
A Katie Origin from Universe 922 has broken into and promptly torn apart the entire front sector of the facility.
All damages still repairable but they would like someone to stop it before they become irreparable.
Something is off though.
The augmentations on this one seems overcharged.
They have no human heat signature.
Only robotic.
A robotic amalgamation of augmentations wearing human skin.]
A simple automated voice plays.
Activating emp now!
An emp rocks across the room. Damaging the electronics as delta class catdroids and armed security enter the room. Heavy armor breaker machineguns and Warhammers in hand.
Secure the permiter. Get a mech-horror containment cell into here.
A box made of magic forms around the creature. Reinforced by the entire team of hybrid mages.
Send sevcon a message that they may have a mechanical mimic infestation amongst their ranks.
They wouldn't be this stupid to send a single person at us. They'd deploy a few squadrons of forces.

Heroforge- Clone Comparisons!
So. For those of you who don't know. This whole AU actually started with me giving into my brainrot and deciding (wisely or not) to recreate the entire cast of The Clone Wars (2008) on Heroforge. Obviously, I had to make the Clones first. This isn't all of them- that would take ages- and this isn't even all the Clones I plan to make (I still need to make Grey, Gree, and Gregor). But still, I hope you enjoy!
I'm gonna tag you because I know you'll want to see this: @whyoneartheven @majorproblems77 @anime-obsessed
The 501st
Tumblr media
Rex, ARC Captain of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Dual Crossbows, to mimic his dual pistols. It's fantasy don't ask how it works.)
Tumblr media
Fives, ARC Legionary of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Morningstar Flail)
Tumblr media
Echo, ARC Legionary of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Kusarigama. Also this is specifically pre-bad batch Echo- when I watch TBB I'll make all of them, don't worry :) )
Tumblr media
Jesse, ARC Legionary of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Claymore. Also I apologize for the quality of his tattoo. I had to draw it by hand and couldn't make it look right :( )
Tumblr media
Kix, Medic of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Dagger, but as the medic he sees combat much less than his brothers)
Tumblr media
Hardcase, of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Hand Cannon. Once again, it's fantasy, don't ask how it works.)
Tumblr media
Tup, of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Metal-studded Quarterstaff)
Tumblr media
Dogma, of the 501st Legion (Weapon: Crossbow. I was inspired by that scene where he shoots Krell. Don't worry he doesn't always look that devastated.)
The 212th
Tumblr media
Cody, Marshal Commander of the 212th Battallion (Weapon: Halberd)
Tumblr media
Waxer, of the 212th Battalion (Weapon: Longbow)
Tumblr media
Boil, of the 212th Battalion (Weapon: Spear. He also uses it like a quarterstaff.)
Assorted
Tumblr media
Wolffe, Commander of the 104th Squadron (Weapon: Battleaxe)
Tumblr media
Bly, ARC Commander of General Secura's Forces (Weapon: Dual swords; they're not enchanted Jedi Lightsabers, but there may or may not have been several times where he's had to use his wife's Aayla's. Also if anyone could tell me her troops' designation, I'd be eternally grateful.)
Tumblr media
Fox, Marshal Commander of the Coruscant Guard (Weapon: Nominally? A short sword. But, being stationed on Coruscant, mostly he just stands around holding Senatorial banners for Palpatine. It's a job he hates.)
Tumblr media
Hevy, of the Rishi Moon Sentry (Weapon: Battle Hammer. Notice that his armor is only white, because he died before he could be assigned to a unit with its own color. Also he is a force ghost. Because I refuse to believe that only Jedi become force ghosts. Everyone has a soul, people.)
Anyway! As always, let me know if you have any questions or comments- I LOVE to hear them! I think next I'm going to do the Jedi. :)

A Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger!
Tumblr media
Author: Negi Haruba Illustrator: Negi Haruba Publishers: Kodansha Comics Age Group: Teen Genre: Shonen/ Action Type: Manga
Content Warnings: jackrabbit asshattery
Spoilers ahead
Plot
Who is the hero…and who is the villain?
When the Monster Army invaded Earth thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose up to stop them! With the war raging on, these great heroes are mankind’s last hope!
…Or are they?
In truth, the invaders were subjugated within a year, forced to continue to crank out a monster a week for the Rangers to crush in front of their adoring fans@ But one monster has had enough. Something has to change! He’ll rebel against the might of the Dragon Rangers and destroy them all…from the inside!
Character Development
Fighter D is a rank-and-file member of the fighters known as “Dusters.” A high-minded monster who has yet to give up on world domination. He manages to infiltrate the Ranger Force on his own. While he can mimic humans, he’s often found out. Though, that doesn’t stop him. Even though he’s considered weaker (and told such by humans all the time) he never gives up. He refuses to stay a slave for the amusement of humanity. One surprising fact is that Fighter D is innovative. We see this when he’s ‘blown away’ by the Rangers while trying to steal Red Ranger’s Divine Artifact. I won’t spoil it, but that’s one of my favorite parts. It shows that he might just be able to pull this off.
Yumeko Suzukiri is a Ranger for the Yellow Squadron who wants to take down the Ranger Force as well. She’s sadistic and ambitious. She offs Fighter D a lot (good thing he’s immortal). Her goal is to take the Divine Artifacts from the Rangers and cause their destruction. Beyond that, she’s good at hiding her true feelings (though some Rangers get weird vibes from her).
Hibiki Sakurama is a “colorless” ranger who believes in justice. He thinks the rangers aren’t doing their best and wants to restructure it from the inside. He’s a classic paladin-type. Fighter D sometimes uses his look when doing various things inside the Ranger Force.
All the Divine Dragon Rangers are what you’d expect for villains. They’re full of themselves but can back it up with power even without using the real Divine Artifacts. They think that monsters are a joke that have to submit to them over and over. They also hide the secret from the general public that the war is actually over and has been for 12 years.
World-building
This world seems contemporary. Every Sunday there is a showdown that’s televised for the entire populace. The Divine Dragon Rangers against the monsters. They even have sponsor messages before the scripted fight. There’s a bit of battling before they’re blasted away (with fake Divine Artifacts) and end up back in their fortress to reconstruct and regenerate.
We learn the Rangers are more than just the Divine Dragon Rangers. They’re looking for recruits. Their operations have expanded to aid the police and help the community. Each Divine Dragon Ranger has their own squadron positioned throughout the city.
Themes
Peace can only last so long when you’re subjugated.
While peace may seem like a good thing, it’s always a double-edged sword. Slavery/subjugation/etc are never a good thing. Creating a truce and then turning it into a debacle for entertainment is one of the worst ways to enjoy peace. Is it any wonder that the reader roots for Fighter D to succeed?
Observations & Predictions
At first, this series starts campy because we are thrown into the chaos before the fight. Think of watching an MMA match. After the first forty pages are the scripted fight but wait… Fighter D stands on his own vowing to defeat them.
After that fight, it begins to get really good. Fighter D mimics a human and decides to join the Ranger Force. Everything seems to be going well until Suzukiri shows her true colors. Now he’s in for it.
Where we leave off in the series, Fighter D seems to be dead from Green Ranger’s real Divine Artifact. Or is he? Suzukiri thinks that Figher D is dead. I’m sure she’ll be surprised when he isn’t.
Figher D is going to have a lot of character growth. He’s been told over and over that he’s weak and should just give up. I’m looking forward to how he improves his mimicry so he’s not immediately found out by anybody. I’m also looking forward to this odd duo relationship between  Fighter D and Suzukiri as they plot to steal all the artifacts.
Another thing to look at is how Sakurama will fit into these plans. Will he end up joining their side or go vigilante?
I like where this series is headed. After all, who doesn't like an underdog and to prove others wrong? I’ll be picking up the second volume and maybe even consider adding it to my own library.

Obligatory crystal ask so you can explain thing to populace, explain away my dude
Tumblr media
CRYSTAL TYPES BUT IT'S A TRIANGLE CHART
i've already made a list of Notable Crystals and it's 50+ which is so fun but also so insane.
The general population outside of mages who use the Elemental Chart usually groups crystals by Type rather than the percentage of elements present. (eg. Weather Type crystals are powerful enough to mimic weather events such as storms; blizzards; etc.)
There's also the concept of twin crystals which are more or less crystals split in half. This doesn't lessen their power per se however it does bring some benefits if you split the right type of crystals. (eg. twin warper crystals which, when activated, will swap places with each other - these are used often by Snipe and Ravess; and twin magnet crystals which can be adjusted to pull the other in at a distance - these are also used by Snipe and Ravess)
There's also communication/relay crystals! Think a distance radio but it's powered by the crystal rather than a battery, most squadrons and military use them en-masse as comms between themselves during missions. With the war it also means many new developments are formed; high-ranking officials in both Atmos and Cyclonia are starting to use relay crystals that are not only able to relay audio, but also visuals!
Also, the internet exists; but think MySpace, Facebook, and discussion forums era. I don't need to explain myself for this I just put it in because the recent "War Thunder forums keep leaking classified military documents" debacles are funny enough to put into my writing.
